A Us intelligence agent, Dan Holland, is coming to Greece on a mission to find a hydrogen bomb stolen from a NATO base in Turkey, but also to discover the killers of another American agent. The aim of some other agents is to activate the bomb to hit the 6th fleet that is anchored outside the port of Piraeus and to incite the start of a World War III. Holland tries to figure it out, with a unique element in his hands: an ancient coin/amulet found at the site of the theft and belonging to his brother, for whom they believed he had been killed in Greece during the Civil War.

Ένας φτωχός και συνετός νέος, ο Στέφανος, του οποίου η μητέρα είναι θυρωρός στην πολυκατοικία όπου μένουν, σπουδάζει νομικά και τα βράδια τραγουδάει σε κάποιο κέντρο. Όταν η όμορφη κόρη του ιδιοκτήτη της πολυκατοικίας, η Χριστίνα, επιστρέφει από το εξωτερικό μετά το τέλος των σπουδών της, ο παλιός έρωτάς της για τον Στέφανο αναθερμαίνεται, αλλά ο πατέρα της θέλει να την παντρέψει με κάποιον πλούσιο. Βλέποντας ότι η σχέση των δύο νέων παρεμποδίζει τα σχέδιά του, απομακρύνει την κόρη του από την Αθήνα, και ταυτόχρονα διώχνει τον Στέφανο και τη μητέρα του από την πολυκατοικία.
